Life with mental health problems is nothing more than an experiment. Try out these vitamins to see if you can find natural relief without side effects. Here are the common vitamins that may help with your depression and anxiety.

Vitamin C

When you are getting a cold you think it is time to load up on vitamin C because it can help with a cold. This may be true for depression as well. Mark Riordan, M.D., a specialist in orthomolecular medicine, discusses how 30 percent of depressed patients who receive vitamin C supplements will improve. This rate of improvement is below the level produced by many placebos. Many studies fail to find a significant effect for this treatment. Nevertheless, it may make an important difference for particular individuals, especially if they have low levels of this nutrient.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is the culprit in seasonal depression. The main source of vitamin D is the sun. In winter the sun is not out as often because of this we all become deficient in vitamin D. This can lead to depression and anxiety. My sister in law takes vitamin D supplements for her anxiety and she has seen a world of difference. There was a study done that showed how vitamin D reduces depression. Fun fact, it also aids in weight loss!
